Today’s diverse and demanding customers’ need to be connected 24/7 require your applications to go beyond traditional browsers to mobile and non-web browser devices. This can be very costly and time consuming. Join us for discussion on MVC4 Web API on how it address some of these challenges. We’ll discuss the following features of MVC4 Web API, illustrating many of them through demos and code walkthroughs:
  1. A modern HTTP programming model
  2. Reach more clients with automatic content negotiation for browsers, mobile, devices, cloud services, etc.
  3. Built-in querying, sorting, filtering
  4. Use of convention over configuration = less code
  5. Scale with the cloud, including Azure, via Async/Task-based framework

About Azure SIG
The Cleveland Azure Special Interest Group (Azure SIG) (formerly the Cleveland .NET SIG) was founded in a partnership between Bennett Adelson and Microsoft 20 years ago. The SIG has become the forum for Azure collaboration and instruction from some of the brightest minds in the region. The organization was founded to provide enterprise customers and community with educational support on the Azure cloud platform. The group meetings consist of architecture and implementation focused, content-rich presentations and interactive discussions with demos. The audience ranges from Azure experts to those decision makers, infrastructure engineers, and developers that are getting their first glimpse of the cloud.
