Database mirroring is one of a number of High Availability / Disaster Recovery solutions for SQL Server. Database mirroring is performed at the database level so a number of considerations must be made before, during and after a failover. In this session a number of the mirroring configurations will be reviewed along with their performance and data integrity ramifications. Along with reviewing a number of tricks and tips using to keep security, maintenance jobs and client connectivity up to date and access the correct database. Session Level: Intermediate

The SQL Server Special Interest Group (SQL SIG) was founded in a partnership between Bennett Adelson and Microsoft.
